Year 4 Perform their Rainforest Dance

The tropical rainforests in different parts of the world are a well-balanced natural habitat in which plants, animals and human life co-exist in harmony. They are interpendent. When chopping down the trees upsets the balance, life forms become endangered and the forest dies, creating great sadness. Slowly, left to nature, the forest will begin to regenerate and grow again. ‘It took 60 million years to create the tropical rainforest. It will take 60 years to destroy if the destruction is not halted.’
