“We have been learning lots of different calculations in maths this term. We have been learning our times tables, fractions and more.

 

In our multiplication lessons we have been learning to use the grid method and the column method. For grid method, we draw a grid and partition our numbers.

 

In our fraction lessons we have been taught how to identify non-unit fractions of objects, shapes and length.

 

We have also been ordering fractions with the same denominators.

 

In our place value lessons, we’ve been learning how to recognise the value of each digit in three-digit numbers. We’ve also been partitioning numbers in a variety of different ways.”
