Year 3 have now completed their first month at junior school, and they have already settled in and shown what great learners they are. 

In English, they have been reading The Hodgeheg by Dick King-Smith. The story follows Max the hedgehog, who receives a nasty bump on the head as he tries to get to his local park.

Inspired by Max’s experiences, the children have been writing persuasive letters explaining how to protect South  Woodford’s hedgehogs.
