Mr Higgins

My name is Michael Higgins, and I have been serving as a parent governor since February 2025.

I have 17 years’ experience in education, including senior leadership. During my career, I was the director of mathematics for a group of six schools. I subsequently led the curriculum, pupil data, staff wellbeing programmes and the student leadership at a school.

Previously as a governor at a school for pupils with additional social, emotional and educational needs, I was responsible for the oversight of teaching and learning.

I am keen to support CJS, furthering the excellent education that our children receive. I have the experience to understand and raise the necessary questions to strive for continuing improvement.
