We are a group of organised individuals that work together to form the Science Technicians. Our role is to keep the science resources for the whole school beautifully organised and ensure that all year groups have regular access to a range of exciting science equipment.
Who We Are
What We Do
We work with Miss Standen and Mr Jongali to learn about different aspects of practical science. We discuss how to organise our wide range of science resources and keep them in a great condition. During our weekly sessions, we distribute science equipment to each year group. We also want to make sure our science lessons are engaging and practical, so we discuss our weekly science lessons and look at science developments in the wider world.
Make a Difference
- Organise science resources
- Order new resources as required
- Allocate equipment to each year group
- Discuss and plan practical science lessons
- Share outcomes of practical science lessons
- Prepare resources for Science and DT lessons

I want to be an ambassador for Science and help other children to understand how important Science is and how it can help our future on Earth. Many children are curious and want to know more about Science and I want them to understand more about what they are learning.
I chose to be a Science Technician because I love experiments like making a water tornado or chemical reactions where you are not sure what will happen. It’s usually something cool. I want to share my enthusiasm for Science with everyone and I want my family to be proud of me.
I have chosen to be a Science Technician because Science is my favourite subject. I find it thrilling and really love exciting experiments. When I am older, I want to be a chemist. I believe Science is great and I want others to share my passion too.
I want to be a Science Technician because you get to do lots of interesting science activities, plus you get to wear an official Science lanyard on Fridays. I am looking forward to helping other people and to have the opportunities to show visitors around the school so that I can show them how amazing our lessons are. I believe Science is very important for our future.
I want to be a Science Technician because I would love to know more about challenging ideas in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I am looking forward to organising the resources so that it will be easier for teachers and students to get what they need. I love answering questions and problems that need to be solved so I think I will make a great Science Ambassador.
