Excitement spread around the school on the first day of term when new equipment was spotted around our school grounds! On the field, a large and colourful sailing ship had dropped its anchor ready for the children. It has two slides, rigging to climb, steps, cannons, binoculars, sails and hammocks. The ship has become a popular destination for the children at break and lunchtimes.

The playground also gained a new addition: three large climbing boulders have been installed, kindly paid for by the PTA. These boulders are also incredibly popular, with the children enjoying a new creative challenge during their break, and a new perspective of the playground.
