Mile End Climbing Wall

This month, Year 5 had the exciting opportunity to visit the Mile End Climbing Wall.

We took part in different activities such as bouldering and climbing using ropes as well as a game called Shark Attack that tested our speed, strength and agility.

The Year 5 teachers agree that it was an amazing opportunity to see their classes discover a resilience that they didn’t know they had. Even those children who were initially adamant they wouldn’t want to leave the floor ended up free-climbing the walls and some even reached the ceiling when supported by ropes!

This was the best trip ever! I tried all the challenging routes and my confidence grew every time!
