English National Opera

English National Opera

This month, Year 6 were incredibly fortunate to be given the opportunity to visit the London Coliseum, as part of the on-going link with the English National Opera. All classes were able to watch a rehearsal of the Magic Flute, followed by a Q and A session with those involved to discuss what it takes to organise an opera and what job roles there are. We would like to thank the English National Opera for providing this opportunity and also a big thank you to all the parents who helped out on the day.

It was great to visit the London Coliseum and I was really impressed by their opera singing. I couldn’t believe how big and how high up the Coliseum goes.

George, Year 6

My favourite character was Papageno, who was the joker of the performance. He was very funny.
