The year 3 students went on a wonderful and informative trip to the British Museum where they learned all about the process of mummification. After a tour of the artefacts and exhibition on the Ancient Egyptians, the children then participated in a workshop. Here they asked many pertinent questions and showed already a good knowledge of the Ancient Egyptians.

It was really fun and I loved seeing real Egyptian mummies – it was so much better in the flesh than in books. I liked seeing the x-rays of the inside of the mummies. It is so scientific.
