Azaan’s Volunteering

Azaan’s Volunteering

“As well as being a proud advocate in Churchfields Junior School I am also an active volunteer in my community. I have spent most of the summer and now weekends volunteering in Aldersbrook Riding School. I love working with animals and volunteering here has given me the opportunity to really get to know the horses. They all have different personalities and it’s been fun getting to know them all. It is a lot of physical work but a great experience.

I have been a member of 26th Epping Forest Scouts since I was 5. Having completed Beavers and Cubs I am now on my Scout Journey. Throughout the years we have participated in many exciting events from Charity Fundraisers, to completing the First Aid Course. We do fun activities that work towards earning our badges. My favourite badge is my camping badge, where we learn to survive in the wilderness.

I am also a part of the Buddies group in Haven House. The Buddies group is for siblings of children with Special needs. My sister has special needs. I love Haven House and my friends there. I have been an active spokesperson for the charity and I am dedicated to support them.”
