In support of their science topic, year 6 took part in an Evolution workshop, led by AS-Creatives. As part of the session, pupils explored the beginnings of life on Earth and how evolution has taken place over millions and millions of years. Moreover, towards the end of the session, pupils were able to design and act out potential evolutionary adaptions humans may go through in the future based on environmental changes. If global warming continues the way it does, Earth may face severe flooding and rising sea levels. Overtime humans may adapt to living in water, by having an improved lung capacity or even being able to breath underwater!
