Online Safety Information Evening

Places still available for the Online-Safety for Families talk!
Come along on the evening of Tuesday 5th July to learn about e-safety for families. Hear visiting expert Penny Patterson explain how to make your child safe online and how they can use the internet and technology to develop and enrich their learning!

From computers and tablets, to smartphones and consoles, Penny will explore all of the ways to access the internet.

Penny will be presenting an interesting, relevant and lively session designed for parents of all primary school aged children. She has an up-to-date knowledge of technology and will offer a range of imaginative and exciting ways to explore how we can help our children use technology safely. Penny is a parent, advisor, child protection officer and an award-winning advisor for ICT and Computing.

This is a free and essential event we’re offering for all parents.

Start time: 6:30pm

Please note: the event will be taking place on Tuesday despite the school being closed during the day.

Penny supports schools in Havering, where she is the lead for school safeguarding and online safety. She is the chair of the LGfL safeguarding group and London representative on the national NEN safeguarding group.
