The Junior Travel Ambassadors (JTAs) have been promoting road safety awareness as well as how to keep fit and healthy on the streets. In their latest initiative, the children within this pupil leadership group carried out a comic strip competition whereby the rest of the school were asked to design a comic strip that promoted safety on the roads. After carefully considering all of the numerous entries, the JTA voted for their winners. The winning entries were colourful, eye-catching and delivered important messages about how to stay safe when out and about. The three winners were Phoebe in year three, Hibiki in year four and Anushka in year five. Their prizes were a BMX bike helmet, a road safety bag and some other goodies. The JTAs are always thinking of new and innovative ways to promote road safety and have also been running a bike and scooter bingo competition this week. Make sure you are all on the lookout for the next competition.
